Roles and Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing test automation scripts using test automation guidelines.
• Understanding of over-all testing process and experience in Agile Methodology
• Participate in scrum meetings and share our views on tickets for automation scope.
• Experience with programming in languages such as Javascript
• Create and maintain libraries and object repositories for the Automation Framework
• Develop and run manual tests for areas where automated tests are not practical
• Experience in functional testing - coming up with test scenarios, test plan and executing them.

• Ability to learn new skills/technologies quickly and independently
• Ability to communicate and deliver effective Automated Test solutions
Required Technical skills
• Experience in creating test scripts by using Javascript for API use cases.
• Experience in Javascript and have good understanding of OOPs concepts.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, and tools like GitLab, JIRA, etc.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing API test cases (REST/SOAP); familiarity
with tools such as Postman, SuperTest.js, or similar.
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest, or equivalent).
• Must have knowledge on Agile process, preferably worked in agile development
• Must have good experience in JIRA and Bug management tools and integrating the same
with automation.
• Must have good exposure to life cycle and activities involved in Automation testing.
• Must be aware of creation and maintenance of test data for automation testing
• Experience in design of test and defect reporting formats
• Experience in setting up the test benches, and associated debug systems etc.
• Design, Review & Execution of Test cases/Test Scripts.
• Excellent problem solving skills with good experience on using system analysis and
profiling tools for debugging and performance optimizations
• Expert programming skills in Javascript and SQL.
Desired Technical skills
• Experience with web service, API test automation & Database
• Experience on CI tools like Gitlab-CI will be added advantage.
• Experience with database automation or integration testing using SQL.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and MCP (Model Context Protocol) agents to enhance
test coverage, reduce manual effort, and accelerate test authoring.
• Explore and implement agentic testing workflows where AI agents autonomously plan,
generate, and execute test cases based on application context.
• Exposure to LLM-based test generation to auto-generate test cases, test data, or
assertions from specs and user stories.
Qualification
• Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Sciences
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience in API and Database Testing
• 3 + years of hands-on automation experience with API & DB Automation testing "
